Director’s Note
“It’s the most free and experimental film I’ve made so far.” — Jaime Rosales
Shot in autumn 2023 in and around Morlaix, Brittany, this is Jaime Rosales’ eighth feature and his first shot entirely in French. The film moves fluidly between black-and-white and colour, 35mm and 16mm, widescreen and 4:3, a formal adventure that mirrors the restless inner world of adolescence. When the characters watch a film that appears to be about their own lives, reality and fiction begin to blur in ways that are both unsettling and deeply moving.
