Astrid Rondero

Astrid Rondero is a Mexican director, screenwriter and producer who co-writes and co-directs her films with Fernanda Valadez. Her first feature, “Los días más oscuros de nosotras” (2017), won two Ariel Awards, and “Identifying Features” (2020), which she co-wrote and co-produced, won the Audience Award and the Screenwriting Award at Sundance. “Sujo” (2024), co-directed with Fernanda Valadez, won the World Cinema Grand Jury Prize: Dramatic at Sundance before being presented at FIJA 2024.
