Your data
Privacy policy
FIJA collects as little data as possible: only what is needed to respond to your requests. Nothing is sold or passed on to third parties.
Data controller
Fija Film Festival association, 69 rue Louise Michel, 92300 Levallois-Perret, France — office@fija-festival.com
Data collected and how it is used
Accreditation request: first name, last name, email, category, organisation or media outlet (optional) and message. This information is used solely to process your request and to contact you about it. It is read by the festival team and is not passed on to anyone else. Legal basis: your request (pre-contractual measures) and your consent, given in the form.
Newsletter: your email address, with the date and language of sign-up, is used solely to send you FIJA news. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to office@fija-festival.com. It is kept until you unsubscribe; it may be transferred to our mailing tool (Mailchimp), which will then ask you to confirm your subscription.
Film submission: submissions are made on the FilmFestPlatform, FilmFreeway or Short Film Depot platforms, which apply their own privacy policies.
Retention period
Accreditation requests are kept until the end of the edition concerned, then deleted within 12 months.
Cookies and analytics
Non-essential cookies (analytics in particular) are only set with your consent, given or refused in the consent banner. You can change your mind at any time. Details of the cookies used are given in the website’s cookie policy.
Embedded content
Videos (Vimeo) and the venue map (OpenStreetMap) only load when you click on them: no connection to these services is made before you click. Vimeo videos play in “do not track” mode. The share buttons are plain links: they send nothing unless you use them.
Your rights
You can access your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing, request that processing be restricted or that your data be transferred, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to office@fija-festival.com. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority) (cnil.fr).
