Daniel Burman

Daniel Burman is an Argentine director, screenwriter and producer, a leading figure of “New Argentine Cinema” and co-founder of the production company BD Cine. His work includes a partly autobiographical trilogy with Daniel Hendler: Esperando al Mesías, Lost Embrace (El abrazo partido) and Derecho de familia. After several years devoted to series, he returned to cinema with Transmitzvah (2024), presented at the Cannes Film Festival (Cinéma de la Plage) and then at FIJA 2025.
