Masterclasses & Professional Talks 2026

Alongside its film screenings, the Festival International des Jeunes Acteurs (FIJA) offers a series of masterclasses and professional talks open to young actors and actresses, filmmakers, and film industry professionals. All sessions take place at Quartier Jeune (QJ), 4 Place du Louvre, 75001 Paris.

Monday, April 20 — 10:30 AM–12:00 PM eTalenta & International Casting Hosted by Thim Habe, this masterclass explores international casting platforms and the opportunities they open up for young performers on a global scale.

Monday, April 20 — 2:30–3:30 PM Filmmakers & Young Actors: An Open Dialogue A roundtable conversation fostering exchange between directors and performers, at the heart of the creative process.

Tuesday, April 21 — 2:30–3:30 PM Agent & Actor With Dominique Besnehard, one of French cinema’s most iconic talent agents, hosted by journalist Jean Pierre Lavoignat. A rare conversation about the agent-actor relationship, career building, and the realities of the industry.

Wednesday, April 22 — 2:15–4:00 PM Clap de Paname Followed by a cocktail reception at 4:30 PM.

Thursday, April 23 — 2:30–3:30 PM The Casting Director A masterclass dedicated to the casting director’s craft: role, methods, and relationship with actors.
